The Glory of Chaos

Chaos: Noun: behavior so unpredictable as to appear random, owing to great sensitivity to small changes in conditions.

The glory of chaos is that there’s never a dull moment as you’re caught in the web spun by madness in a life that’s ever changing. No, there’s no silence. Just the banging of drums and the blaring of cars. Chaos watches and grins as obligations and responsbilities pull and tear your hair for attention, along with the distractions that cling to your feet and yell at you to focus on them. Forcing you.

The rule of chaos is that it’s something you must sink into and never be relinquished from, letting yourself relax through its currents and be swept away. Chaos is inescapable, and the untrained mind can be driven mad if they let chaos engulf it. 'There’s lessons in the flames to be learned and licked.

There’s beauty in the madness if you’re wild enough to unleash your fears and dive into territories unknown. To remove yourself from everything you once knew, routines, hometowns and familiar faces and plunge yourself into a new life filled with wild wonder, navigating through liminal spaces to break down who you were and build yourself back up.

That’s the glory of chaos. To lose yourself and release your control of what you thought was in your careful, trembling hands. To sky dive into uncertainty. I’m always chasing it, hungry for it, waiting for it to rescue me from the claws of boredom and propel me into scenes I’d never thought I’d see and lives I never thought I’d live. Chaos is everywhere - behind my eyelids, possessing my thoughts, driving me wild with an insatiable appetite that leaves me running into uncharted territory and away from everything I knew. I’ve learned to live and dance in her flames.
